The SAGE III instrument obtains profile measurements of aerosol extinction, ozone, water vapor, nitrogen dioxide, nitrogen trioxide, chlorine dioxide, clouds, temperature and pressure in the mesosphere, stratosphere, and upper troposphere with a vertical resolution of 0.5 - 1 km resolution.

Officially released data sets to the public are available from the Langley Research Center's Atmospheric Sciences Data Center.

Research and Test Data Access
Access to SAGE III research and test data sets are restricted to the SAGE III Science Team through the SAGE III Science Team Data Distribution System.

Use of SAGE III research data is for internal algorithm development and quality assurance studies and shall not be distributed or published in any form without approval from the SAGE III Project Team.
